Camp Via West
OVERVIEW

Camp Via West is located less than 5 miles off highway 280 in Cupertino and is a quiet and private 13.5 acre campus. Our camp can be rented for Group Retreats year-round for day and overnight programming. We house up to 150 guests for overnight stays and day groups of up to 250 people.

Enjoy comfortable lodging, good and plentiful food that meets all special dietary needs, and an array of indoor and outdoor facilities. In addition to the onsite amenities, your group can enjoy access to many local wineries, some of the best hiking and biking trails in the South Bay, as well as the Deep Cliff and Blackberry Farm Golf Courses.

Camp Via West accommodates a wide range of day and overnight rental groups including university and school groups, special-focus camps, religious groups, and various other groups. Take a tour and visualize your group at Camp Via West!

Main Lodge


The Main Lodge is a dining hall with seating for up to 150 guests and consists of high ceilings with ceiling fans, windows on both sides for cross breeze and views of camp, a gas fireplace, a commercial kitchen, sound-dampening ceiling features, a large movie screen, A/V capabilities, and a new building extension creating additional meeting/break-out space.

Bungalows


Six new bungalows, inspired by Yosemite’s Costonoa Lodges and constructed in June 2023, sleep up to four people (also an option for private accommodations) and are conveniently located near a firepit/hang-out space.

Bungalows Fire Circle


A perfect cozy spot to curl up under a blanket, have a warm cup of tea or hot apple cider, and tell stories by the fire.

Sleeping Lodges


The dormitory-style lodges house 25 people each, and every lodge includes a single private room with a private bathroom. All lodges include shared “locker room style” bathrooms with 3 toilets, 4 sinks, and 4 showers. All are wheelchair accessible, heated, and have ceiling fans and windows.

Sports Field


The Sports Field is an artificial turf field constructed in June 2023, and is perfect for all kinds of sports, and stargazing at the wide-open sky!

Outdoor Amphitheater


The Amphitheater has seating for up to 250 people and is located under a beautiful Live Oak heritage tree with attached lights. Additional power and lighting are available. The Amphitheater is a great space for talent shows and more!

Hiking Trail


The Hiking Trail is a ¾ mile-long shaded loop fitness trail that is regularly groomed and great for outdoor educational and meditative opportunities.

Fire Circle


The gas Fire Circle, great for campfire songs and cozy camp evenings, has circular seating and is equipped with a safety fence.

Pergola & Picnic Area


The Pergola & Picnic area is an outdoor seating area (100+) with contoured pavers, picnic benches, shade, and a commercial size outdoor BBQ.

Sobrato Center for the Performing Arts


The Sobrato Center is an additional multi-use break-out space that holds up to 75 people. Renovated in 2017, the Center includes heat and A/C, a large TV screen with HTML cord for a computer connection, and AV.

“Aartvark” Arts & Crafts Building


The Aartvark is an additional “break-out” space for up to 45 people with 2 bathrooms.

Sharks Playground


The Sharks Playground, donated by the San Jose Sharks and suited for ages 3+, includes accessible swings, monkey bars, and a bridge.
